Yes, I do weddings too (in Ohio)
Are you looking to get married but don't have an officiant? Well, look no further. I am licensed to do weddings in the State of Ohio and have performed several of them over the years for couples of various faiths (as well as no faiths at all). I charge a flat $150 for weddings within 30 minutes of Dayton, OH (which includes drive time), and I am willing to travel at a rate of $0.66 per mile for every mile over 60 miles (round trip) if your wedding takes place outside of that bubble.
To give you a ballpark idea of what that costs, here's the mileage from Dayton to the three major cities in Ohio that has been doubled for purposes of calculating round-trip expenses:
Dayton to Columbus: 146-60 miles =86 miles charged (or $58)
Dayton to Cleveland: 428-60 miles = 368 miles charged (or $243)
Dayton to Cincinnati: 116-60 miles = 56 miles charged (or $37)

Bartending Services
I also have a background in the service industry and have worked at many bars and restaurants over the years doing everything from bussing and waiting on tables to cooking short order and bartending. I've even been a bouncer!
So if you're looking for an officiant for your wedding who can also hop behind the bar during the reception, look no further.
Ohio does not require a liquor license for weddings and allows you to purchase your own alcohol and serve it, but many venues require a licensed bartender with insurance to serve the drinks, so I am thrilled to be able to provide that service for you as well as a licensed bartender in Ohio. Before your event I can help you put together a drinks list that matches your budget and develop some unique signature cocktails (as well as familiar favorites) to serve at your wedding. And yes, I know I'm a Dudeist Priest, but I like to make more than just White Russians...

Pricing
If you're looking for me to just provide bartending services, the price breakdown is as follows, and all services are available "a la carte," although event insurance is mandatory, not optional.
Bartending Only
- $25 per hour for day-of-event prepping , bartending, and cleanup (prep time and cleanup will be negotiated ahead of time)
- $0.66 cents per mile for any event that is more than 30 minutes away from Dayton (for weddings outside that bubble the first 30 miles are free)
- $20 an hour for meeting for in-person planning/consultation (although the first two hours are free)
- $75 flat rate - I will work with you to create up to 5 signature cocktails (not charged if you develop the recipes yourself)
- $175 for event insurance (mandatory)
- $150 to go shopping for alcohol for you (you pay for the alcohol, however)
Combined Services Pricing
If you choose to have me bartend at your wedding AND officiate, the officiating fee is waived, a $15 value!
